Meetings

Sub-Branch monthly meetings are held on the second Monday each month at 7.00 pm.

Annual General Meeting held the LAST Sunday in February at 9.30 am.

Membership Fees & Applications

Full RSL Sub-branch member $10 (including Reveille subscriptions)

Associate Sub-branch member $5

Fees payable annually from 1 November and must be paid by 31 January.

Applications for Membership are available from Reception. FULL DOCUMENTATION PROOF of service (including overseas, War - Peace Keeping, Medals and Decorations) MUST accompany every application.

Annual Functions

ANZAC March, Service and Luncheon - Sunday PRIOR to 25 April*

ANZAC Dawn Service & traditional breakfast - ANZAC Day - commencing at 5.15am (NO charge)

Veterans Luncheon -  held in August commencing at 11.30 am (NO charge)

Remembrance Day March, Service and Luncheon - Sunday PRIOR to 11 November*

* Both the ANZAC & Remembrance Day activities commence at 10.15am and tickets and attendance at the Luncheon are restricted to invited guests, Merrylands RSL Sub-branch and Club members only (and official guests).

Tickets are free for invited guests and Sub -Branch members.
Sub- Branch members pay $5 for Partners tickets.

Club Members $20.00

The WWII Veterans Luncheon is for Sub-Branch members (and official guests) and is by invitation only.

Sporting Competitions

Merrylands RSL Sub-Branch participate in the following State Branch controlled sporting competitions:

Lawn Bowls - Pennants

Darts - Weekly RSL competitions and the Easter Interdominion carnival between NSW, VIC and NZ

Ode of Remembrance

The Ode of Remembrance is recited every evening at 6.00pm

Youth Club

The Merrylands RSL Youth Recreation Club is situated in St. Anne Street, Merrylands, (adjoining King Park), and was established in 1960 for the children of the community.

Membership and Fees

Membership is open to ALL children (NOT just relatives of RSL members) between the ages of 5 and 25. 

A yearly membership fee of $10 applies and attendance each night/day cost $3.

Meetings

Monthly meetings are held on the THIRD Thursday commencing at 7.30pm at the Youth Club.

Annual General Meeting is held in February at the RSL Club.
